In short
Wuppertal 360° is a static website. There are no comments, no forms, no accounts, no newsletter and no embedded services such as videos, maps or social media buttons. This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Fonts and code are served from the same server as the site itself. The only exception is the audience measurement’s counting script, which is served from statistik.egis-datenbankarchiv.de (see below).

Hosting and server logs
1blu GmbH, Riedemannweg 60, 13627 Berlin, Germany, hosts the site. For every request, the server automatically logs your IP address, date and time, the requested address, the referring page, your browser identification and the status code. These logs are necessary to deliver the site and detect attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is operating the site securely and reliably. I do not use the logs to measure traffic. A data processing agreement with 1blu is in place under Art. 28 GDPR. 1blu automatically rotates logs containing full IP addresses. IP addresses retained for longer are truncated, so they can no longer be attributed to a specific person.
Cloudflare
Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, provides name resolution (DNS) for wuppertal-360-grad.de. Cloudflare also relays requests to the server and protects the site against attacks. In doing so, it processes your IP address and technical request data. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Cloudflare holds certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; transfers to the USA rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision of July 10, 2023. A data processing agreement with Cloudflare is in place.

The photographs on this site are not stored here but loaded directly from hobbyzone-alpha.com. Your browser requests them from there and transmits your IP address, browser identification and the address of this page. hobbyzone-alpha.com belongs to the same controller and also runs on 1blu and Cloudflare. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is keeping each image in one place only. The main site has its own privacy policy.
Audience measurement
To count page views I use GoatCounter on my own server in Germany. It records the page viewed, the referring page, screen size, browser, operating system and the country derived from the IP address. The IP address itself is not stored, no cookies are set and nothing is stored in your browser; visits are not linked to each other. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is knowing which reports are read.
Contact by email
If you email me, I process your address and the content of your message so I can reply. 1blu hosts the email service. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. I delete the message when the matter is settled and no retention obligation applies.
Links to other sites
When you follow a link to another website, that site's privacy policy applies.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). An email to info@wuppertal-360-grad.de is enough.
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority as well. The authority responsible for me is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (LDI NRW), Kavalleriestraße 2-4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.
